Looking to hire an architect? Here is a brief description of how the B l u e l i n e design process works:

Our Initial Questions For You

Would you provide us with a PDF copy of the survey of your property depicting the location of your home or business? Free of charge, we provide preliminary assessment for any municipal zoning implications related to your project.

What is the scope of work you are planning? No project is too small, or too large.

Do you have a construction cost budget in mind?  Bear in mind our fee is not based on the cost of construction.


PHASE 1



Discuss the scope of services, determine the project goals, provide complimentary zoning analysis of your property, provide site visit, discuss

and understand your budget, perform existing building survey and implement existing condition drawings in CAD format.




PHASE 2



Initial design meeting, review schematic sketches and drawings, confirm zoning implications, preliminary construction code analysis, review preliminary construction budget, design development drawings, discuss options/alternatives, final design drawings.




PHASE 3



Start the construction documents, prepare specifications for owner review, complete detailed construction drawings, provide signed and sealed sets to be used as a basis for final pricing, owner-contractor contract, and submit to building department.
